2020 Fanatic Wave board range

Fanatic have released their 2020 range of wave / freewave / freestyle boards.
There some changes to the range.
A new Grip wave board , a new model Freewave, and a tweaked freestyle board.
With the 2019 Wave sailing champion & 2019 Freestyle champion on their team , the boards are the business..

The highly adaptable Grip TE enables you to ride your wave – your way, without compromise.

Fast and loose, the entire range has been re-shaped for 2020 to help you unleash your potential, no matter where you wavesail.
This year’s board achieves the ultimate goal: vastly improved waveriding performance, without sacrificing any of the accessibility, speed and early planing.
Through subtle changes to the outline, tail width and bottom shape, the new Grip TE offers a new level of looseness and control – particularly in down the line conditions.
In short, it’s the most versatile waveboard we’ve ever produced.

Duotone launch 2020 Windsurf Sails

Boards & More launch the 2020 Duotone windsurf sail range.

Duotone Super Hero 2020

The SUPER HERO has simply everything:
low weight, quick responsiveness like a three-batten design and the stability of a 5-batten one.

The SUPER HERO’s consistent evolution makes it an even better World Cup sail with an extremely wide range of use in the wave.
It continues to give a top-end performance even under the brutal conditions of locations such as the Canary Islands or South Africa, remaining under perfect control with high winds and during extremely overpowered jumps.
And yet it also boasts powerful acceleration capabilities at the lower wind limit, alongside an excellent on/off response, which would come in handy when participating in down-the-line surfing on Maui or Mauritius.

Key Features –

XPLY PLUS (100/150 microns): The laminate with the lowest stretchand the best UV and puncture resistance on the market.
NEW: TRI PLY foot panel (150 microns): The added […]

iRig – New era in windsurfing

Duotone -(NKB the world biggest Kite brand and NorthSails) market leader in Windsurfing rigs have joined forces to create the most innovative rig ever made.
The outcome is what we call best of both worlds: incredible low weight and packing dimensions achieved through inflatable Kite-technology combined with the appeal and safety of a Windsurf rig.

It is an unbeatable package making it the ideal addition to your SUP as an entry into the fascination of wind- powered sports.

On top the iRIG will revolutionize the Windsurfing Entry and Schooling as it’s 70% lighter than any conventional Windsurfing rig. Combined with the inflatable “mast” and “boom” parts the rig always floats on the water making starting and learning a piece of cake.

–  Super light weight with around 1,5 kg for very easy learning with instant success and for a very comfortable transport.
70% lighter than a standard Windsurf rig. Even the smallest people can use it. Very manoeuvrable & easy handling.
–  Fixed handle positions avoiding wrong positioning of your hands ! facilitates the learning process enormously. Fixed handle positions Identifies correct way to hold the sail, teaches users how to trim the sail. Faster learning, easier learning, more fun.
–  Completely inflatable construction without hard materials !
Reduces effort for rigging up tremendously (Pump & Go within 100 seconds) and gets risk for injuries nearly down to zero.
No fine-tuning, just pump it up & go.
Rigs up within 100 seconds & no parts to lose.
Safe to use for kids and beginners, no hard objects to hit or fall on –> super safe
–  “A3-size” packing dimensions achieved through inflatable Kite-technology ! very easy transport and storage
–  Unlike traditional Windsurf rigs the iRIG floats onto the water ! Very easy uphauling and a relaxed paddling home without drag in case of drifting too far away. Does not sink, therefore easy to lift and super safe. Quick & Easy to pull out of the water.
–  Super simple sizing with Small / Medium / Large (the correct size depends solely on your body height) ! makes it a no brainer to choose the right size.

Fanatic Wave, Freewave & freestyle 2019 Range

Fanatic Highlights Wave & Freestyle Range 2019 from Fanatic International on Vimeo.
Fanatic launches their 2019 range;

The Grip
Extremely versatile with multiple fin options and
shape designed to work both as a quad and tri-fin, giving maximum adaptability for preference or conditions

› Lightweight and easy to adjust slot-box fin system allows further tuning for conditions and preference. Moving the fins back (in either confguration) noticeably increases the speed and drive of the board, whilst moving them forward gives a much looser, more surfy feel

› High top speed and excellent comfort in chop, thanks to the double concave / V bottom shape

› Flat deck, great for stability in lighter winds
› The exact shape Victor Fernandez won the PWA World wave title on

Stubby

› Easier to sail than a conventional wave board

› Will atter your technique no matter what level you are at

› Holds speed better through the turns, meaning more turns per wave and faster, more […]

2018 North Wave Sails

2018 Wave.ALL.IN.ONE- The SuperHERO

The consistent evolution of the legendary HERO makes the SUPER HERO the ultimateWorld Cup wave sail with an extremely wide range of use.

On the one hand, it captivates with a manageable top performance, even in nuking spots such as the the high country lakes (Coleridge / Clearwater ) & Wellington, while remaining perfectly controllable even in fully overpowered jumping conditions.

On the other hand, it offers powerful acceleration at the lower wind limit, as you need for down the line riding on Maui or Mauritius, or grovelling out in onshore Canterbury conditions.

Designer Kai Hopf has moved up the batten above the boom increasing the gap to the foot batten similar to a 3 batten sail.
This FREE.BOOMZONE.CONCEPT provides an incredible on-off switch on the wave.
The batten-free area is super easy to pump and offers less resistance for the wind to fill out the profile in the wind in the […]
